Fixed Pricing
No unexpected fees. A fixed price means that although you pay a fix price up front, regardless of the amount of work, there will be no unexpected charges. This works out a lot cheaper than the recommended hourly rate. This has to be agreed beforehand with detailed case information to be supplied by the client. The hourly rate as set out CJC for solicitors who are qualified for 8 years or more would be £261 plus VAT for a grade A solicitor.
NB: Only the principal will carry out work on your case, hence you are assured of some 34 years of experience [1988]. There will be no caseworkers, no secretaries and no receptionist to go through. You deal directly with our principal. On a fixed fee basis which will be assessed on a case by case basis, clients end up paying a lot less than the hourly charging rate. In some cases, the charges amounted to an hourly rate a quarter of the recommended rate by the CJC. You can check out the rates of the CJC [Civil Justice Council] on their web site: judiciary.uk. The rates provided were reported on the 2 Aug 21, by the Law Society Gazette.
